    The Consortia Advancing Standards in Research Administration Information (CASRAI) is looking for people to take part in a consultation on the feasibility of adopting Universally Unique Identifiers (UUID) as an underlying technology for implementing distributed unique IDs for CASRAI-compliant instance data.

    The 2012 version of the Alberta Innovates - Health Solutions ‘Making Connections’ Conference: this year, AIHS is recognizing the importance of evaluation and performance management in measuring the impact of health research. The ‘Making Connections’ conference will take place in Jasper June 17-19, 2012, and will bring health research stakeholders together to talk about the value of research, and explore how best to demonstrate that value.

    McGill University is pleased to announce that it has joined the Consortia Advancing Standards in Research Administration Information (CASRAI). By becoming a CASRAI member, McGillis reaffirming its support for the international push to standardize how funding agencies collect information from the research community. The collaboration also represents another noteworthy step in the University’s drive to improve the services it offers researchers.
