How to comment

CASRAI terms, lists, templates and other resources are meant to be living documents. If you see an error or a missing context (national, domain or discipline) in one of our resources, please tell us about it. This will help us improve the resource for all.

CASRAI is light on formality and is highly open to feedback. You have two ways to submit comments:

On our Forum (our preference)

We use a modern, state-of-the-art online discussion tool to make it as easy (and we hope enjoyable) to post comments and participate in discussions about our work. To add a comment in our Forum:

  1. Copy the link from this website to the resource you want to comment on;
  2. Visit the Request for Comments area on our Forum;
  3. Login (or create a new account if it’s your first time);
  4. Select the “+ New Topic” grey button in the upper right;
  5. Paste the link you copied into the Title field (this will auto-create a summary of the resource);
  6. Type your comment;
  7. Select the “+ Create Topic” blue button in the lower left;
  8. That’s it.

We will be automatically notified of your comment and the appropriate person will reply.

On Twitter (we can work with this too)

We love Twitter (aside: you can even use your Twitter account to sign-up above and you can tweet your comment from the Forum) so we can capture your comments if you prefer that platform. To comment on Twitter:

  1. Copy the link from this website to the resource you want to comment on;
  2. Go to your Twitter account;
  3. Paste the link into your Tweet;
  4. Type your comment;
  5. Don’t forget to add the @casrai tag somewhere so we get notified;
  6. That’s it.
We are working on adding direct commenting links at the bottom of each resource page. This will make it even easier to post a comment to the Forum or to Twitter or LinkedIn.
