Description
A floor-standing vacuum filtration system of nominal 50 L capacity. The upper filtration chamber is a wide funnel with a clamped, removable lid, sitting directly over a spherical glass receiving flask. Both are carried in a frame on braked casters, so the assembly can be repositioned without breaking it down.
The receiving flask has a valved side arm at the shoulder and a valve at the bottom, so filtrate is drawn off through the base rather than by lifting the vessel.
