How this works

Plainly stated

What it answers from.: Answers draw on CASRAI's guides and dictionary plus the federal and funder documents we index: Federal Register, Grants.gov, Regulations.gov and UKRI. Every factual claim is marked with the source it came from, and the pages consulted are shown before the answer is written.
What it isn’t.: Not legal advice, not funding advice, and not a substitute for your funder’s, publisher’s or institution’s own policy documents — always check the primary source.
What it won’t do.: It won’t answer from general knowledge or guess. When our sources don't cover a question, it says so and answers from a live web search instead, with every source linked.
