Journalists, editors, and communications staff covering CASRAI, CRediT, or the standards bodies CASRAI's work interoperates with should write to the press address. We aim to respond within 24 hours.

Embargo and quotation conventions
Embargoes are honoured when arranged in advance and confirmed in writing. Quotation conventions follow standard practice: comment from the editorial board is attributable to the named member by default; background comment is on the record unless we agree otherwise; nothing is off the record by default. Where the inquiry concerns another standards organisation's work, we route you to that organisation rather than commenting on their behalf — the press desks of NISO and ICMJE are the right contacts for their own statements.
