The working temperature range is generally the most important criterion for choosing a particular fluid. The use of the correct heat transfer fluid guarantees reliable and safe operation, optimum temperature control and a long life. The heat transfer fluids in this brochure have been chosen for use with Huber temperature control units.

What grades are available and what do they cover?+
SynOil M10: −10 to 120 °C. SilOil M20: −20 to 195 °C (−20 to 235 °C in closed systems). SilOil M40: −40 to 165 °C (−40 to 220 °C closed). SilOil M60: −60 to 115 °C (−60 to 200 °C closed). SilOil M80: −80 to 55 °C, and a second M80 listing at −80 to 100 °C (−80 to 250 °C closed).
Why do closed systems have a higher limit?+
The upper figures quoted for closed systems are higher than the open-system figures across the range. Use the open-system figure unless your circuit is genuinely sealed.
What container sizes are available?+
