Description

The Stainless Steel Reactor is purpose-built for polymerization and high molecular weight compound synthesis, offering versatility and durability in demanding lab and production environments.
Engineered for compatibility with urethanes, PET, polyphenols, and a wide range of catalysts, the reactor features 304 stainless steel and PTFE seals and gaskets to ensure reliable operation at elevated temperatures required for polymerization and solid-state processing.
An integrated nitrogen/argon gas inlet allows for inert atmosphere control, while a stainless steel thermowell enables precise, direct temperature monitoring of reactor contents.
The system includes a variable-speed, high-torque drive capable of handling viscosities up to 50,000 cP, ensuring efficient mixing throughout both polymerization and solid-state polycondensation (SSP) stages.
For applications involving vapor-phase purification or moisture removal, the reactor can be optionally configured with both a standard condenser and a molecular condenser, enabling effective volatile condensation and product refinement.

Frequently asked questions

What are the specifications?+

None are published for this listing. Capacity, pressure rating, jacket configuration, agitator and port pattern are all undocumented here, and we would rather say so than guess. Request the full specification before ordering.

Why is there no price shown?+

This product carries no price in the catalogue, so it is handled as a call-for-quote item rather than a fixed-price line.
