A ducted fume hood: contaminated air is drawn through the enclosure and exhausted rather than filtered and returned to the room. That is the correct specification where the chemistry is aggressive, poorly characterised, or where filter breakthrough could not be reliably detected – the trade-off is that the installation now includes ductwork, a termination and enough make-up air to replace what is being thrown away.

Is ductwork supplied?+

No. Duct, dampers, supports and the exterior termination are not part of any configuration on this listing, and their sizing depends on the fan selected and the length and geometry of the run. Have that designed before the hood is ordered, not after it arrives.
