Description
Heating bath circulation thermostats with a stainless steel bath allow the temperature control of internal and external thermoregulation tasks. Items can be directly thermoregulated by placing them in a thermostat bath and the control of externally connected applications is also possible. The units are suitable for a number of typical temperature control tasks such as sample temperature control, materials testing, quality control, etc. The devices are fitted with overtemperature and low level protection in line with Safty Class III/FL according to DIN 12876. A powerful pressure/suction pump ensures optimal circulation and temperature homogeneity in the thermostat bath and also allows temperature control of externally connected applications.
he new multi-touch controller Pilot ONE offers a brilliant 5.7″ touchscreen with graphic functions and a comfortable navigation menu. All important operating parameters and temperature values are neatly displayed on the touchscreen. Thanks to the new favorites menu, the one-click operation and the integrated technical glossary the operation is very easy, just like on a smartphone. Integrated USB and Ethernet ports allows connection to a PC or network, e.g. for remote control or data transmission.

Frequently asked questions
What is the working temperature range, and what does the (−20) figure mean?+
The data sheet gives the range as (−20) 28 to 300 °C. The unit has no refrigeration machine of its own; the lower figure is reachable only by feeding the integral cooling coil with an external supply of cooling water or a chilled fluid. Without that supply, the practical lower limit is set by ambient.
Can it control an externally connected apparatus as well as the bath?+
Yes. The pressure/suction pump supports both modes, so a photometer, refractometer, viscometer or jacketed vessel can be plumbed into the M16x1 male pump connections, or samples can be thermoregulated directly in the bath. Permissible fluid viscosity is 50 mm²/s.
How large is the bath and how much fluid does it take?+
Bath volume is 15 litres with a minimum filling volume of 11.5 litres. The bath opening is 270 × 145 mm with a usable depth of 200 mm (10.63 × 5.71 in, 7.87 in deep).
What electrical supply is required?+
200–240 V 1~/2~ 50/60 Hz, drawing a maximum of 16 A with 20 A fusing. Heating capacity is 3 to 3.5 kW. The unit measures 335 × 382 × 433 mm and weighs 22 kg (48.5 lb), making it one of the smaller circulators in this family.
What is included in the delivery?+
The data sheet for order number 2007.0001.01 lists a mini-USB cable, an NW12 hose connector, a blank plug and sleeve nuts as included accessories. Hoses, thermofluids and the RS232 adapter cable are listed separately as options.
What controller and interfaces does it have?+
Pilot ONE at E-grade "Basic", with a 5.7 in colour touchscreen. Connectivity is Pt100 for an external probe plus RS232, Ethernet, USB Device and USB Host. Higher-grade functions such as the programmer and cascade control are activated by an e-grade upgrade code rather than by hardware.
