Measuring range by thermocouple type:
- J-type: -210 °C to 1200 °C (-346 °F to 2192 °F)
- K-type: -200 °C to 1372 °C (-328 °F to 2501 °F)
- T-type: -250 °C to 400 °C (-418 °F to 752 °F)
- E-type: -150 °C to 1000 °C (-238 °F to 1832 °F)
- N-type: -200 °C to 1300 °C (-328 °F to 2372 °F)
- R and S type: 0 °C to 1767 °C (32 °F to 3212 °F)
Two channels can be read at the same time, displayed either as T1/T2 or as the T1-T2 difference, with maximum, minimum and average values available. The meter has a large backlit LCD, a data hold function and auto power off.
Supplied with two K-type thermocouples and three AAA batteries. Probes for the other supported thermocouple types are not included, and no calibration certificate is documented with this instrument.
Frequently asked questions
Which thermocouple types does it accept, and over what range?+
J: -210 to 1200 °C. K: -200 to 1372 °C. T: -250 to 400 °C. E: -150 to 1000 °C. N: -200 to 1300 °C. R and S: 0 to 1767 °C. Two K-type probes are supplied; probes for the other types are not included.
What accuracy is stated?+
±(0.1% of reading + 0.6 °C), per the manufacturer listing. That is meter accuracy and does not include the tolerance of the thermocouple itself, which for a standard K-type is usually the larger of the two error terms.
Can it read two points at the same time?+
Yes. It has two inputs and displays either both channels (T1/T2) or the difference between them (T1-T2), plus maximum, minimum and average of the reading.
What is in the box?+
The meter, two K-type thermocouples and three AAA batteries, per the source listing.
Does it come with a calibration certificate?+
No calibration certificate is documented in the source listing. Treat it as an uncalibrated working instrument and bring it into your own calibration schedule if it is used for anything traceable.
What display and logging features does it have?+
Large backlit LCD, data hold and auto power off. The source listing does not document any datalogging memory or PC interface.
