Our Rare Earth Magnet is coated with a Teflon coating allowing for no reaction to fluids and allows the magnet to withstand high temperatures of 280°C. This magnetic pill stirrer is best recommended to use for stirring fluids inside of beakers and other glassware. These are best recommended to use with a hot plate or magnetic stirrer bar.
