Editorial commentary
CONSORT 2010 (Schulz, Altman, Moher, 2010) covers trial design, randomisation, blinding, outcome definitions, statistical methods, and the flow of participants through enrolment, allocation, follow-up, and analysis. Extensions exist for cluster trials, non-inferiority designs, pragmatic trials, and harms reporting.
