Editorial commentary

ARRIVE 2.0 (Percie du Sert et al., 2020) split the original 21-item checklist into a 10-item 'Essential' core and an 11-item 'Recommended' set. It addresses study design, sample size, randomisation, blinding, statistical methods, and animal husbandry. Many journals require ARRIVE-compliant reporting for in vivo studies.
