FAQ
Is CRA "higher" than CPRA or CFRA?+
Not in a tiered sense. CRA is broader, covering all four Body of Knowledge domains, while CPRA and CFRA are independently scoped to one phase of the award lifecycle rather than being entry-level versions of the CRA.
Do CPRA or CFRA count toward earning the CRA?+
No. Each credential has its own eligibility application, exam, and Body of Knowledge, and RACC does not publish a stepped or combined pathway between them.
Can I hold more than one of these credentials?+
Yes. All three share the same eligibility pathway and none is a prerequisite for another, so administrators commonly hold CPRA and/or CFRA alongside the CRA.
