Editorial commentary
EOSC is governed by the EOSC Association (a Belgian non-profit gathering hundreds of member organisations) under a tri-partite governance with the European Commission and member states. Its core technical artefacts are the EOSC Marketplace (catalogue of FAIR services), the EOSC Federation architecture, and the EOSC Core (authentication, monitoring, accounting, helpdesk). EOSC is the policy frame within which OpenAIRE, PID graph services, and many national infrastructures present themselves as ‘EOSC services’.
