How a Pediatric Clinic’s Supply List Differs From a General Practice

Three things drive the difference: the size range of the patients, the number of routine well-visits per patient per year, and the fact that a meaningful share of what happens in the room is preventive and developmental rather than acute. A family medicine clinic sees adults across a fairly narrow physical range and can standardize on one or two sizes of most equipment.
