Divergence
Where sources materially disagree
A material divergence from CRediT, not just a structural echo: ANSI/NISO Z39.104-2022 assigns each of its 14 roles to a specific NAMED PERSON on a paper's public byline. NIKOLAI's Mapping Declarations do not do this -- the declaring individual's name is collected at signup only to personalise a confirmation email and is never persisted to the declaration record or exposed publicly; only the organisation name is. Every N10 role in the current system is, in practice, assigned to an organisation, never to a named individual. If per-person credit is added later, this divergence_note should be the first thing revised.
Gap
Operationally real, but only implicitly: casrai_nikolai_decl_rest_submit() records _submitted_by (a WP user id) on every declaration, which is in practice this role's incumbent for that one declaration -- but no field anywhere stores an explicit "role: Declaring Representative" label, and the person's name is never persisted or shown publicly (only the organisation name is). Do not read this as a fully realised, named-person role in the CRediT sense; see the declaration-role-statement element for why.
