Description
The Cube Series is the outdoor member of this extraction booth range: a self-contained C1D1 container that sits outside the building rather than occupying floor area inside it. That matters where the host building cannot accommodate a classified area, or where the extraction operation needs to be physically separated from the rest of the site. Containers can be stacked or placed side by side to build multi-zone configurations.
Configurations as listed
- CS10 / CS10I – 8 ft W x 8 ft H x 10 ft L, standard or insulated
- CS20 / CS20I – 8 ft W x 8 ft H x 20 ft L, standard or insulated
- CS30 / CS30I – 8 ft W x 8 ft H x 30 ft L, standard or insulated
- CS40 / CS40I – 8 ft W x 8 ft 6 in. H x 40 ft L, standard or insulated
- CS40IC – 8 ft W x 8 ft 6 in. H x 40 ft L, insulated combination build
The unit is supplied configured to the specification agreed at order, and can be used for cannabinoid (CBD and THC) extraction among various other extraction types.
Area classification and occupancy approval rest with your local authority having jurisdiction. Establish what engineering documentation, stamped drawings and gas detection certification you will need for your submittal before the order is placed, because that package – not the equipment – is usually what determines the project timeline.
Frequently asked questions
What sizes are available?+
Four lengths at 8 ft wide: 10, 20, 30 and 40 ft. The 10, 20 and 30 ft units are 8 ft high internally and the 40 ft units are 8 ft 6 in. Every length is offered as a standard or an insulated build (suffix I), and the 40 ft is additionally offered as an insulated combination build, CS40IC.
What does C1D1 mean?+
Class I, Division 1 is a National Electrical Code hazardous-area classification for locations where ignitable concentrations of flammable gases or vapours are present under normal operating conditions, or frequently because of repair, maintenance or leakage. It drives the electrical equipment, wiring methods, ventilation and gas detection required in the space. Class I, Division 2 covers areas where those concentrations are only present under abnormal conditions.
What is the difference between the standard and insulated builds?+
The I-suffix variants carry an insulation package. Because these units sit outdoors, insulation affects both the thermal load on any process temperature control inside and the conditions the operator works in. Specify against your site's climate and the temperature stability your process actually requires.
Is this an indoor or an outdoor unit?+
Outdoor. The Cube Series is built as a containerised outdoor installation. The indoor booths in this range - Micro, DYS Economy, Mega Economy, Mega Deluxe, EXXA and ZETA - are listed separately.
Can multiple containers be combined?+
Yes. Containers can be stacked or placed side by side for multi-zone configurations, which is the usual route to separating extraction from post-processing or from a classified from a non-classified area.
What do we need for permitting?+
Classification and occupancy approval are decided by your local authority having jurisdiction, not by the equipment supplier. Before ordering, confirm exactly which engineering drawings, calculations, gas detection documentation and stamped submittals are included with the configuration you select, and check them against what your AHJ and fire code official will ask for.
