The Mega Economy Series is the value tier among the larger indoor booths in this range: a C1D1 classified enclosure supplied with gas detection and the series’ safety and filtration systems, in five fixed footprints, all 10 ft high internally.

Should I choose the 10 ft or the 12 ft width?+

The extra 2 ft is working clearance rather than equipment capacity. If operators need to pass around a skid, or if a vessel has to be accessed from more than one side, the 12 ft builds (EM12 and EM1220) are worth the floor area. If the layout is linear, the 10 ft builds at longer lengths give more usable run for the money.

What is included?+

Gas detection and the series' safety and filtration systems, in a booth that can be configured to your process layout. Process extraction equipment is not part of the booth package. Confirm the exact scope in writing before ordering, including where the booth package ends and your own mechanical, electrical and fire protection works begin.

How does this differ from the Mega Deluxe series?+

Both are C1D1 indoor booths. Mega Economy covers a wider range of footprints, all at 10 ft internal height. Mega Deluxe offers a 12 ft internal height on its DM30 build and an optional permit package. What does C1D1 mean?+

Class I, Division 1 is a National Electrical Code hazardous-area classification for locations where ignitable concentrations of flammable gases or vapours are present under normal operating conditions. It governs the electrical equipment, wiring methods, ventilation and gas detection required in the space.

What do we need for permitting?+

Area classification and occupancy approval are decided by your local authority having jurisdiction.
