Is Kuali Coeus the same product as Kuali Research?+
Kuali Coeus was the original open-source research-administration system built by a university consortium starting in the mid-2000s. Kuali Research is the current commercial SaaS successor, operated by KualiCo. Some long-tenured institutions still call the product "Kuali Coeus" internally, but commercially it is now sold and delivered as Kuali Research.
Can an institution use just Cayuse IRB without the rest of the Cayuse suite?+
Cayuse markets its modules as adoptable individually, and Cayuse IRB in particular is commonly deployed at institutions that don't run Cayuse's sponsored-projects or other compliance modules. Confirm current licensing terms directly with Cayuse, since packaging options can change.
