Presentations

Slide decks for CASRAI talks at conferences and workshops. Editorial-board talks, working-group reports, federation briefings. Reusable with attribution.

The presentation library collects the slide decks used by CASRAI editorial-board members, working-group chairs, and federation partners at conferences, workshops, and institutional events. The deposit pattern follows the convention used by other federation partners — see for example the public talks from euroCRIS and NISO.

What sits here

  • Editorial-board talks. Plenary and keynote talks introducing the dictionary, the editorial protocol, and the federation model.
  • Working-group reports. Status reports from working-group chairs, typically delivered at the annual face-to-face or the partner-conference slot.
  • Domain explainers. Deep-dive decks for individual dictionary domains — AI disclosure, persistent identifiers, narrative CVs, research integrity.
  • Implementation walk-throughs. Slides showing how a journal, an institution, or a CRIS vendor moves to CRediT and the dictionary. Pairs with the case studies at /resources/case-studies.

Conference venues we target

The dictionary's natural conference circuit includes the NISO Plus annual conference, the euroCRIS membership meetings, the CODATA biennial conference, the Research Data Alliance plenary, and a rolling set of regional research-administration conferences. Talks given at these venues are deposited here within a release cycle of delivery.

Release timeline

The presentation library opens with the v2026.2 release cycle. The first deposits will be the launch-event keynotes from the v2026.1 release.

Coming with v2026.2

All decks are released under CC-BY 4.0 with source files where possible. Adapt freely, attribute always.

Want a CASRAI speaker?

The editorial board fields speaker requests through [email protected]. Lead time of six to eight weeks is appreciated for international travel. Where a member of the editorial board cannot attend in person, a recorded talk or a working-group chair stand-in is usually possible.
