Recorded sessions

Videos

Webinars, working-group recordings, and brief explainers. Captioned, transcribed, and released under CC-BY 4.0.

The video library collects recorded sessions in three formats. The pattern mirrors the practice used by NISO, ORCID, and Crossref — short-form explainers for orientation, working-group sessions for the editorial record, and longer webinars for implementation depth.

Three formats

  • Webinars (45–60 minutes). Implementation deep-dives. A working-group chair walks through a domain, a vendor partner walks through a CRIS integration, a publisher walks through a CRediT adoption rollout. Captioned and transcribed.
  • Working-group recordings (60 minutes). Recordings of the quarterly working-group calls, deposited within a fortnight of the call. Paired with the formal minutes on /news/working-group-updates.
  • Brief explainers (3–6 minutes). Short clips defining a single concept, a single domain, or a single CRediT role. Suitable for embedding in institutional library guides and editorial onboarding pages.

Accessibility

Every video carries closed captions and a downloadable transcript by default. Where the spoken material is technical, the transcript is reviewed by the working group's chair before deposit. Accessibility feedback goes to [email protected].

Release timeline

The video library opens with v2026.2. The first deposits are the launch-event recordings from v2026.1 and a starter cohort of brief explainers covering CRediT and the dictionary's editorial model.

Coming with v2026.2

Hosting on a captioning-friendly platform with full transcripts. CC-BY 4.0 with attribution; embedding welcomed.
