Is Converis the same company as Web of Science?+
Converis and Web of Science are both Clarivate products, which is why they share a vendor relationship and, per Clarivate’s own materials, an underlying data layer — but they are different products serving different functions (CRIS vs. citation database).
Can Symplectic Elements replace a full CRIS on its own?+
It can, but many institutions use it primarily as an upstream harvesting-and-capture layer feeding a downstream repository or reporting system rather than as the sole system of record — confirm this fits your model before assuming it replaces every function of a system like Pure.
Do any of these three integrate with open-source repositories like DSpace?+
