Editorial commentary
Latindex (Sistema Regional de Informacion en Linea para Revistas Cientificas de America Latina, el Caribe, Espana y Portugal) catalogues and indexes Iberoamerican scholarly journals according to publicly documented quality criteria. It comprises a Directory (listing of journals), a Catalogue (journals meeting editorial quality criteria) and an OA portal. Latindex collaborates with Redalyc, SciELO and DOAJ. It is a foundational infrastructure for bibliodiversity and Global-South publishing, supporting non-English-language scholarship and community-led editorial governance.
