Editorial commentary
Redalyc (Red de Revistas Cientificas de America Latina y el Caribe, Espana y Portugal) is a full-text OA repository hosting more than 1,500 journals across humanities, social sciences and natural sciences, with content published primarily in Spanish, Portuguese, English and other regional languages. Redalyc applies an editorial-quality evaluation process to admitted journals. It is closely allied with AmeliCA in promoting a Latin American model of scholarly communication that is diamond OA (no charges to readers or authors), led by academic communities, and oriented toward Global-South knowledge production.
