Editorial commentary
Founded in 2006 and constituted as a charity, UKRIO publishes the Code of Practice for Research (2009, updated 2022), the Procedure for the Investigation of Misconduct in Research (2008, regularly updated), and a Confidential Advice service. It is distinct from the UK Research Integrity Forum and from the Universities UK Concordat to Support Research Integrity (2012, 2019 revision), which is the sector-level commitment that UK institutions sign.
