Editorial commentary

Partner roles vary by consortium design. Some partners lead specific work packages while contributing to others; some focus on a single technical contribution; some primarily provide pilot sites, end-user perspective, or dissemination. Partners must satisfy eligibility (e.g., legal-entity validation, financial viability checks) and accede to the GA. The consortium agreement allocates rights, responsibilities, and IP among partners. The term is also used informally for industry collaborators in SRAs.
