Editorial commentary

End-of-project reviews complement the final report and typically involve the sponsor, the project team, and (where applicable) external experts. They evaluate whether the project's aims were met, the quality and impact of the deliverables, the strength of the team and partnerships formed, and what should happen to outputs after closeout (sustainability planning, IP exploitation, follow-on funding). End-of-project reviews often produce a public summary that becomes part of the project's public record.
