Project onboarding accelerates productive contribution by new members and reduces compliance risk (e.g., ethics training, data-access controls, conflict-of-interest disclosure). Onboarding artefacts typically include a project handbook or wiki, data access provisioning, repository" class="text-primary underline-offset-2 hover:underline" data-autolinked="true" title="Code repository — CASRAI Dictionary">code repository access, mandatory training (ethics, biosafety, EDI, research integrity), introduction to consortium meetings, and assignment of a mentor or buddy. For consortium partners joining mid-project, onboarding also includes accession to the Grant Agreement and Consortium Agreement.
