Editorial commentary
Closeout activities typically include verifying that committed datasets have been deposited, that access conditions match commitments, that sensitive data have been disposed of according to schedule, and that the final DMP is stored in a manner that supports future audit. The closed-out DMP becomes evidence rather than intent.
