Medical care is provided by Dr. Diana Nieves Castro, MD, a general practice physician licensed in Puerto Rico. The Health Initiative also manages CASRAI, a research-administration standards programme; this clinical service is separate from that work.

The Health Initiative is the organization responsible for this service: it receives the payments, answers your questions and handles your complaints. It is a U.S. nonprofit with a mailing address in Virginia; that address is not a care location. We have no office or clinic in Puerto Rico: we are a telehealth-only service.
The Health Initiative, CASRAI and this service
The Health Initiative also manages CASRAI, a research-administration standards programme. They are separate pieces of work: the clinical content on these pages does not go through CASRAI's content processes, and these pages do not load the analytics or advertising tools used on the rest of casrai.org. How to file a complaint
Email us first at [email protected]; we want to know. You can also complain about medical care to Puerto Rico's medical licensing board (Junta de Licenciamiento y Disciplina Médica), and about the privacy of your health information to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office for Civil Rights (OCR). We will never retaliate against you for a complaint. See contact.
