Outside the metro area, the distance to a 24-hour pharmacy counter varies a lot from city to city.

- Mayagüez: ERs and the latest-closing pharmacy counters on the west coast.
- Ponce: ERs, urgent cares that close at night, and the only 24-hour pharmacy counter in the south and west.

- Humacao and Palmas del Mar: which ERs are still open after Hope Medical Center closed.
The islands: Culebra and Vieques
The island municipalities have few medical services and the ferry leaves from Ceiba, so it helps to know what exists before you need it. See Culebra and Vieques.
Only five 24-hour pharmacy counters in Puerto Rico
A store that is open 24 hours is not a 24-hour pharmacy. According to the Walgreens store locator, the only pharmacy counters open all night on the island are the Walgreens stores in Guaynabo (2505 Carr 841), Bayamón (4699 Route 5), Caguas (101 Carr 1), Cayey (5800 Ave Jesús T. Piñero) and Ponce (2979 Ave Emilio Fagot), and all five close from 1:30 to 2 a.m. for a meal break. No Farmacias Caridad store has a 24-hour counter. Each guide tells you which one is nearest and when your local counter closes. Verified 2026-09-30; hours change, so call ahead.
The video visit is the same everywhere on the island
The online doctor visit has the same price, the same doctor and the same process in every area. You only need to be physically in Puerto Rico during the visit; visitors and tourists are welcome. If you need to be seen in person, use your area guide or read where to go when you are sick. In an emergency call 911; see the warning signs.

- Do you have an office in any of these areas?
- No. We are a telehealth-only service: the visit is a video call from wherever you are in Puerto Rico. The area guides exist so you know where to go when you need to be seen in person.
- Why doesn't my town have a guide?
- We only publish a guide when we can verify the ERs, pharmacy counters and their hours from official sources. The video visit works the same from any town in Puerto Rico.
- Where is there a 24-hour pharmacy in Puerto Rico?
- The only 24-hour pharmacy counters we found are five Walgreens stores: Guaynabo, Bayamón, Caguas, Cayey and Ponce. Many other stores stay open all night, but their pharmacy counter closes earlier.
