  • Doctors' Center Hospital Manatí, Marginal Carr 2 Km 47.7, Manatí. CMS data lists emergency services (CMS phone 787-853-3322). Its official site has no separate ER entry, so we have not confirmed hours: call first if it is not serious.

Pregnant in Manatí: when to use the obstetric ER

Manatí Medical Center's separate obstetric ER matters for pregnant women in the area. The CDC lists warning signs that need care right away, including: vaginal bleeding or leaking fluid, severe belly pain that does not go away, the baby moving less or stopping, a headache that will not go away or gets worse, vision changes, extreme swelling of the face or hands, a fever of 100.4 °F or higher and trouble breathing. That is in person: call 911 or go to the ER.
